Stacey Dash: The green-eyed beauty
This clear green-eyed beauty was born in The Bronx, New York on 20th January 1966. An African-American, Mexican and West Indian by descent, Dash hails from a family which boasts of quite a few CEOs. Her brother Darien Dash is the CEO of DME interactive Holdings and her cousin Damon Dash is the former CEO and co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records. She graduated from Paramus High School in Paramus, New Jersey. As a kid she always knew what she wanted to be and started her career in acting at a very early age of sixteen. She made her first television appearance in “Farell for the People” opposite to Valerie Harper.
After this Stacey was seen in several television appearances such as The Cosby Show, Denise’s Friend and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Stacey got to make her first major television appearance in 1988 in the show named “TV 101”. Besides roles in television Stacey Dash also appeared in quite a few movies. Her first movie appearance was in “Moving” opposite to Richard Pryor which was a comedy made in 1988. Since then she has been seen in quite a few movies. Some special mention are “Illegal in blue” which was a provocative erotic thriller made in 1995 and “Clueless” which starred Alicia Silverstone and Brittany Murphy and till date remains the biggest break in the career of this beautiful actress. Stacey Dash also featured in quite a few music videos. In 2001 she appeared in a music video of Carl Thomas “the Emotional”.
At the age of 40 Dash hit the headlines for posing nude on the front page of the August issue of Playboy. In an interview given to PimpHop.com Dash says she was quite talked of as she did it at an age of 40 and had 2 children. Everybody thought of it as a career booster but she did it because she wanted to feel sexy at her age. In the same year she launched her own lingerie line called Letters of Marque.
Stacey Dash has 2 Kids. One son named Austin with ex-boyfriend Christopher Williams, and a daughter, Lola from her ex-husband Brian Lovell.
